ASCD's Expectations of Affiliates with Web Sites

ASCD is excited to offer Web site hosting and templates to each affiliate. Affiliates participating in the ASCD Affiliate Web Site Program must agree to

• Name a key contact who will manage the affiliate Web site.
• Maintain and update the Web site in a timely manner.
• Only sell and promote only products that are noncompetitive with ASCD products.
• Link to ASCD's programs, products, and services on the ASCD Web site.
• Adhere to all of ASCD's policies and protocols.

ASCD Will Provide Participating Affiliates With

• Free hosting of affiliate Web site content
• Five templates from which you must choose the layout of your site
• One copy of Macromedia Contribute software
• Limited technical support for Contribute software only

Accounts, Passwords, and Security

You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password, and for any and all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify ASCD immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or password, or any other breach of security.

You may not use anyone else's ASCD member/customer ID, password or account at any time without the express permission and consent of the holder of that account. ASCD cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these obligations.

ASCD Privacy Statement

ASCD respects your privacy. You can visit the ASCD Web site without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. However, ASCD can and may collect the following information regarding visitors to our Web site:

• Your domain name
• Your name
• Information regarding what pages you access
• Information volunteered, such as survey responses
• Your e-mail address
• Preferred means of communication

This information is used for statistical analysis only. Additionally, by using the site, you acknowledge and agree that Internet transmissions are never completely private or secure. You understand that any message or information you send to the site may be read or intercepted by others, even if there is a special notice that a particular transmission (for example, credit card information) is encrypted.
